: I wish to give notice of my intention to raise this afternoon, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, the sanctioning of the increases in the price of bread and butter by the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy.
: I will communicate with the Deputy.
: On the Order of Business, I wish to ask the Taoiseach whether the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy will be giving an explanation to the House for the latest savage increases in the prices of bread and butter on the anniversary of this Government coming to power.
: I will ask him to consult with Senator Justin Keating who may be able to tell us about this.
: Give us our daily bread.
: The Deputy should think of the farmers in the Lagan Valley.
: What is wrong with them?
: Nothing, except that they are getting good prices.
: The Minister should think of their schools and teachers and give them better educational facilities.
: This is the Taoiseach's happy anniversary present to the Irish people.
