asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy the floor area of the proposed advance factory for Clifden, County Galway; the type of industry it is hoped to attract to the factory; and when the industry is likely to commence operation.

I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that the area of the proposed new advance factory at Clifden is 10,000 sq. ft. The authority plan to commence construction of the factory in April 1979. Construction is expected to take about six months. The authority will continue to actively promote the proposed factory for a suitable industry. However, at this stage it is not possible to indicate what type of industry is likely to locate there.
