On 23 November 1979 Roscommon County Council requested my approval to the extension of the contract for stage 1 scheme, which is at present in progress, to a second stage of the scheme. To enable an examination of the proposal some further technical details were forwarded with the council's letter of 25 January. The proposal is currently being examined.
