Information on the rates levied on farm dwellings in 1975, 1976 and 1977, is not available and rates on all dwellings (including farm dwellings) were abolished with effect from 1 January 1978. Particulars of the rates levied on land and farm buildings are as follows.

1. The information regarding rates on land is based on returns furnished by local authorities and refers to land in county health districts.
2. Under the provisions of the Local Government (Financial Provisions) Act, 1978, rates on farm buildings erected before 1st March, 1959 have been abolished with effect from 1st January, 1978. The figures in the reply are estimates.
