asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will provide an extension to Drinagh telephone exchange, County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

An extension is being provided and it is expected that the installation will be completed in the first half of next year. It cannot be brought into service, however, until an extension to the trunk exchange at Skibbereen is completed in the third quarter of next year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Meath.

Service is dependent on provision of a considerable length of underground cable which is scheduled for completion in the second half of 1981. Service will be provided as soon as possible after that.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin.

Service will be provided within a month or so.
