The only grant at issue, which relates to a bulk tank, has been paid. The amount of the grant was £961, representing payment calculated at the appropriate grant rate of 25 per cent on the purchase price of £3,844 net of VAT.

The person named was paid his 1981 cattle headage grant under the disadvantaged areas schemes on 14 April 1982.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will arrange to pay a grant for 25 suckler cows to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.
The person named was paid on 25 suckler cows under the 1981 EEC scheme of premiums for maintaining suckler cows on 30 April 1982.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will arrange to pay a sheep subsidy to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.
The maximum number of livestock units on which an applicant could be paid under the 1981 cattle and sheep headage schemes in the disadvantaged areas was 30. The person named was paid on 30 livestock units under the cattle headage scheme. Since it would have been more favourable for him to have been paid on his sheep livestock units first, an adjustment is being made on this basis and a supplementary payment will issue to him shortly.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in paying a silage subsidy grant for August 1981 to a person (details supplied) in County Meath.
The application for a silage grant of £150 by the person concerned was received in my Department on 2 February 1982 and was paid on 16 February 1982.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will arrange for the immediate payment of a cattle headage grant to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.
The person named was paid his 1981 cattle headage grant under the disadvantaged areas schemes on 14 May 1982. His grant under the 1981-82 EEC suckler cow scheme will be paid shortly.
