asked the Minister for Agriculture when the balance of a farm modernisation grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.
It is a condition under the farm modernisation scheme that an item to be grant aided must form part of a farm plan. As the paddock fencing was not on the development plan, applicant was advised accordingly.
Grant-aid for concrete surfacing except where undertaken in conjunction with the construction of a new farm building has been terminated since 14 August 1981. As the work in this case consisted solely of concrete surfacing of a yard it is ineligible for grant aid.
