The amount paid to producers organisations in 1982 was £1,22,694.44 in respect of financial compensation for fish withdrawn from the market. The amount paid in export refunds on fishery products during 1982 was £1,847,535.79. Payment to producers organisations in respect of an administration expenses grant amounted to £24,228.40 in 1982.
