I issued no Christmas cards as Minister for Labour. My predecessor issued 230 cards at a cost, excluding postage, of £77. The Minister of State at my Department issued 1,350 Christmas cards and the cost, excluding postage, was £277. The cards were despatched as departmental post and there is no separate postage record.
