The person concerned retired on grounds of ill-health on 28 June 1985 and applied for a pension. The necessary formalities in regard to the payment of the pension and gratuity have now been completed and arrangements are being made for the issue by my Department of the gratuity this week. I also understand that the man's pension will be paid by the Paymaster General in the near future.
