Details of timber offered for sale up to 30 June 1986 are not yet available. The volume of timber offered for sale up to 30 May 1986 was 560,000 cubic metres approximately. An additional 80,000 cubic metres was put up for tender during the month of June. The projected output for 1986 is 1.3 million cubic metres which is in line with forecasts. It is anticipated that this target will be met. There are no specific proposals to offer additional timber for sale in 1986. However, the Forest and Wildlife Service continues to make every effort to supply as much material as is possible to the trade.
