208.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in payment of a £2,000 new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Meath; and when this grant will be paid.

The receipt of documentation requested from the applicant relating to the occupation of the house is awaited.

209.

asked the Minister for the Environment when the balance of a £2,000 new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

A decision in relation to the applicant's entitlement to the higher rate of grant must await the receipt of additional information requested from him.

asked the Minister for the Environment if payment of the third instalment of a mortgage subsidy will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

The third instalment of the mortgage subsidy will be paid as soon as possible.

211.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a pre-1940 house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare, the inspection in relation to which has already been carried out; the amount of grant payable; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The amount of the grants payable cannot be determined until certain information requested from the applicant has been received.

212.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant and a builder's grant will be paid to persons (details supplied) in County Kildare whose house was inspected and passed in October 1986; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The 2,000 new house grant will be paid as soon as possible. A decision in relation to the £2,250 "builder's" grant must await the receipt of additional documentation requested from the applicant.
