I am at present examining the intoxicating liquor laws, including the provisions relating to under-age drinking. This has involved detailed consultation with the trade groups and other bodies who have a special interest in the licensing laws. Any legislative proposals arising from this examination will, in accordance with normal practice, be announced when the Government have had an opportunity to consider them.
