Note 1:
Dún Laoghaire Corporation were authorised to use £1.6 million of internal capital resources as part of their rate support grant allocation for 1986 and £150,000 as part of the allocation for 1987.
Note 2:
The rate support grant allocation for 1989 incorporates an amount for the contribution in lieu of rates on State property which was formerly paid separately.
Note 3:
Information on the total numbers employed by local authorities is obtained from returns furnished to my Department showing the position at 31 December each year.
