The increase is to provide for an acceleration of the computerisation programme in the Ordnance Survey.

asked the Minister for Finance the way in which the extra finance in the Vote No 10, Office of Public Works subheads G, H, I and J in the 1990 Estimates will be spent; and if there are any new projects proposed.
The allocation of the additional provisions under subhead G, H, I and J of Vote 10 in the 1990 Estimates is not yet finalised. Consequently it is not possible at this stage to supply details of all the projects that will be undertaken next year.
