Ceist:29 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Defence whether Irish troops are currently in Russia as part of an EC Task Force.

Three volunteer Irish Army officers are serving in a voluntary capacity with the EC Task Force for Food Aid to Russia. The officers who took up duty on 29 January 1992 are located in Moscow. It is anticipated that implementation of the food aid programme will take about four months.
