Ceist:86 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health if he will make an allocation to the Mercy Hospital, County Cork, so that they can proceed with their development plan.

The proposed development of the Mercy Hospital, Cork, is at an early stage in the planning process. The question of completing the planning and commencing the construction work is being considered in the context of the capital funding that will be available in 1993 and subsequent years and the competing demands for other urgent hospital schemes around the country.
