Ceist:511 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction the appointment of a home school liaison teacher for Tralee Community College, County Kerry.

I am satisfied that the teacher allocation to the town of Tralee Vocational Education Committee is sufficient to meet all of the needs including home-school liaison, of the pupils attending Tralee community college.
The allocation of resources from within the overall allocation is a matter for the chief executive officer of the vocational education committee in the first instance.
