94 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for the Environment when he will approve structural funding for the new Grange Road, Grange Abbey, Baldoyle, Dublin 13, which is likely to form part of the Dublin Transport Initiative's final report on the new road network for Dublin.
As this road does not form part of the network of national roads, responsibility for its improvement is a matter for the local authorities concerned, Dublin County Council and Dublin Corporation. The authorities may use the discretionary block grants for non-national roads provided annually by my Department to supplement expenditure from their own resources on such work. The determination of priorities in the expenditure of these funds is entirely a matter for the local authorities.
