Ceist:74 Mrs. Owen asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will intervene on behalf of a person (details supplied) who wishes to return to a country on holidays where he served for a number of years.

Following representations to my Department on behalf of the person concerned, inquiries were made through appropriate channels. i regret that the authorities of the country concerned did not approve the granting of a visa in this case.
