56 Mrs. Geoghegan-Quinn asked the Minister for Education when a decision will be made on an application for funding by the authorities of a school (details supplied) in County Galway; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [13983/95]
There are currently two applications, in relation to the school in question, under consideration in the Department. Preliminary examinations are under way in order to establish the feasibility of the works involved in these applications. In the circumstances the question of funding does not arise until the physical planning of the projects is completed.
