Vol. 458 No. 2
67 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Finance the recommendations, if any, made by the consultancy firm appointed to examine the flooding problem in south Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16683/95]
69 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Finance if the preliminary report of the consultants appointed to examine the south Galway flooding problem will be made available to the South Galway Flooded Victims' Action Group; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16685/95]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 67 and 69 together.
A draft of the preliminary report of the consultants appointed to examine the flooding problem in south Galway has just been received. It is being examined at present by the Commissioners of Public Works. It would be premature at this stage pending the completion of that examination and finalisation of the report to make any further statement on the matter.
I intend to arrange a public meeting in Gort where the consultants will present their findings to date and answer questions on the report.
