Ceist:41 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Finance the progress, if any, which has been made towards the acquisition of a suitable site for the provision of a new Garda station at Thomastown, County Kilkenny. [10502/97]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 32 and 41 together.
A suitable location has been identified for a new Garda station at Thomastown. The Commissioners of Public Works are in negotiation with the landowner for the purchase of this site.
