175 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Education if funding will be approved in 1997 under the recreational facilities scheme for a club (details supplied) in County Cavan; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [12464/97]
I can confirm that my Department has received an application from the organisation concerned for funding under the sports capital programme. The application is one of over 1,200 applications on hand seeking funding under the programme.
My Department will consider the application when decisions are being made on grant allocations this year.
