134 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the future status of the peat burning station at Bellacorick, County Mayo; if she has considered the medium term proposals in respect of this plant; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [23438/98]
There is no change in the position regarding the peat-burning plant at Bellacorick since my reply to a previous Dáil question by the Deputy on 28 January 1998.
The ESB has again confirmed its intention to undertake a feasibility study around the year 2000 to determine the condition of the plant at Bellacorick and assess the option for its future use.
