Ceist:71 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if an allocation of money has been made to a group (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [15460/01]
Written Answers. - Inland Fisheries.
The Central Fisheries Board which is responsible for the day to day administration of the Tourism Angling Measure 1994-1999 informs me that Goresbridge Angling Club was approved funding in May 1998 under TAM for a total amount of £4,651 of which 50% was European Regional Development Fund funded. The total project was subsequently decommitted with the agreement of the promoter in July 1999.
The Southern Regional Fisheries Board informs me that the Southern Trout and Coarse Fisheries Development Society made an allocation of £9,364 to this angling club last year principally for bank-side development and hatchery facilities.
