558 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will assist schools (details supplied) in County Kilkenny to employ one resource teacher covering all of the hours granted to each school; if his Department will pro-actively pursue the matter and resolve the issue in the short-term; and if contact has been made with the schools concerned to date. The issue raised by the Deputy is being actively examined by my Department at present. As soon as this examination is completed, my Department will be in contact with the school authorities involved.
