Ceist:

1134 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children when he intends to introduce legislation to allow for the transfer of the General Register Office to Roscommon town; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16620/02]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

The Civil Registration Bill, which is currently being drafted, will facilitate the transfer of the General Register Office to Roscommon.
