I move:
That Dáil Éireann approves the Twenty Third Report of the Standing Committee of Selection in accordance with Standing Order 34, copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 24th April, 2023, and discharges members from Committees and appoints members to Committees accordingly.
It is not agreed on the grounds that it includes the removal of Deputy Neasa Hourigan from three committees which, in effect, is a punishment of her for voting against the eviction ban. She was right to vote against the eviction ban and she should not be punished on that basis.
This is a motion without debate.
As a vote has been called, it is deferred until this evening.
