: I am proposing a vote of sympathy to the families of those who lost their loved ones in the tragic accident on the quays last Saturday. Everybody in the country was shocked by what happened. It is a significant loss to the families and came completely out of the blue. Everybody was deeply saddened by the event. That applies also to the staff in Dublin Bus who have had a completely clean record for so many years and have never had an accident of this kind. On behalf of the committee I offer our condolences to the family and propose that we adjourn for one minute as a mark of respect.
