What is the next move in regard to taxis? What is the progress in respect of the Harbours (Amendment) Bill 2008? The Chairman, Deputy Fahey, expressed strong support for councillor representation on harbour boards to be provided for in the Bill and suggested that the committee put its full weight behind the proposal. We should urge the Minister, Deputy Noel Dempsey, to include LAMA, the Association of County and City Councillors and town councillors on the boards.
We will do that.
