Message to Dáil.

Acting Chairman

In accordance with Standing Order 79B the following message will be sent to the Dáil:

The Select Committee on Education and Science has completed its consideration of the Youth Work Bill, 2000, and has made amendments thereto.

I thank the Minister of State and his officials as well as the Members of the committee for attending and their contributions to the debate on this important piece of legislation.

Mr. Creed

Will the Minister ensure that the Bill goes to Report Stage and be concluded as soon as possible?

Mr. O’Dea

I am committed to having this legislation fully dealt with by both Houses of the Oireachtas and ready for the President's signature within this session. I envisage it will go to Report Stage shortly.
