726. Deputy Willie O'Dea asked the Minister for Health when the HIQA interim report into the review of accident and emergency services in the mid-west is due; if she will publish the interim report; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [5745/25]
Amharc ar fhreagraHIQA published the terms of reference for the review of urgent and emergency care in the mid-west region in August 2024. As set out in these terms of reference, HIQA will provide a preliminary briefing to me by the end of this month (February 2025). I do not expect this update will be in a publishable format. However, the final report is expected in May 2025 and this report will be published.
