I propose to take Questions Nos. 361, 362, 363, 364, 365, 366, 367, 368, 369, 370, 371 and 372 together.
In Budget 2025, €23 million was secured for the National Cancer Strategy, including expansion of cancer screening, funding for community cancer support centres, and implementation of the National Cancer Strategy. This will mean over €105 million has been invested into the Strategy since 2017.
Symptomatic Breast Disease Clinics (SBDs) and Rapid Access Clinics (RACs) for lung and prostate operate in each of the designated cancer centres in Ireland. RACs, including SBDs, provide access to diagnostics and early detection of these cancers. Patients with symptoms of potential cancer are referred to these clinics by their treating physician. In 2024, over 56,000 people were seen at Rapid Access Clinics.
As the figures requested in this question fall under the remit of the HSE, I have asked the HSE to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
