1847. Deputy Seán Canney asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 1108 of 2 February 2025, if there has been a change to the criteria since 2022; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [12452/25]
Amharc ar fhreagraWe can confirm that the criteria has not changed in the timeframe the Deputy has suggested. Ill Health retirement is based on an assessment by occupational health advising if an employee cannot work due to a permanent medical illness or disability. As advised previously the criteria is based on medical grounds and the employees illness or disability.
