MINISTERIAL MOTIONS. - NON-RECOGNITION OF HOSTILE LEGISLATION.

The SECRETARY FOR HOME AFFAIRS moved:—
"That the Ministry of Home Affairs be empowered to make orders from time to time declaring that any particular Act or Acts of the British Parliament or Orders thereunder or any parts of such Acts or Orders being clearly motived by a religious or political animosity to the Irish people or repugnant to the Republican Government or to Irish ideals, shall not be recognised by the Irish Republic and shall not be applied in the Law Courts of the Republic, and that on making any such order the Ministry may make any consequential orders which may be deemed necessary or expedient."
The SECRETARY FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT seconded the motion, which was adopted.
