DISQUALIFICATIONS. - NOMINATION.

4. A nomination paper may be delivered to the Returning Officer at the place of election at any time during which nomination papers may be obtained. Any nomination so delivered shall be open to inspection at the commencement of the time appointed for the election and for the purpose of an objection under Rule 6 in part I. of the First Schedule to the Ballot Act, 1872. The time of delivery of such nomination paper shall be deemed to be one hour after the commencement of the time appointed for the purpose of the election.
5. Any person who interferes, or who attempts to interfere, either with the reparation, completion, or delivery of a nomination paper, whether by threats, intimidation, bribery, waylaying, or molestation of person, shall be liable, on conviction, to be imprisoned with hard labour for a period of twelve months. And the Court may also order that the name of such person be struck off the register of electors, and not to appear on any successive Register for a period not exceeding five years.
