Vol. 2 No. 32

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. - BILLETING ACCOUNT.

To ask the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that an account for billeting amounting approximately to £700 is due to Mrs. Margaret Monnelly, late Matron of the Union, Ballina, that this debt was incurred during the months of July and August, 1922, that repeated applications have been made for payment without avail, that Mrs. Monnelly is now in straitened circumstances due to the withholding of this amount, and whether he will give immediate instructions to have this long overdue account settled.

An account was only recently received at G.H.Q. It has been sent to the local Quartermaster for examination and certification, and it is receiving special attention.
