To ask the Minister for Education if he is aware that no salary has been paid since last August to Miss B. Casey, of Rathduane National School, Millstreet, Co. Cork, or to Miss B. Reardon, of the same district; if he will state the reasons for withholding salary from these teachers, and if he can say when arrears of salary will be paid them.

The teachers referred to were reported by the military authorities as actively supporting the Irregulars, and their salaries have been withheld pending the completion of investigations in regard to them by the Ministry of Defence.
