asked the Minister for Defence whether any steps have been taken in pursuance of his undertaking, in reply to a question in the Dáil on January 3rd, that he would expedite as much as possible enquiries into the claim by Mr. Devitt, Racecourse, Cashel, for compensation for a motor car commandeered on August 3rd, 1922, and whether the Minister can give any assurance that the claim will be settled without further delay.
