CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - A CARRICK-ON-SUIR RAID.

asked the Minister for Home Affairs if he is aware that the house of P. Heffernan, Secretary, Crehana (Carrick-on-Suir) Branch, I.T.G.W.U., was raided on the morning of the 24th ultimo, about 2 a.m., by three masked men. who seized and took away all books, papers, etc., belonging to the Branch, and warned Heffernan to give up his activities on behalf of the Union. If he will have this matter inquired into, with a view to ascertaining who the guilty parties are, and certaining who the guilty parties are, and to have the books of the Branch returned.
