Vol. 3 No. 18

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - CHARGE AGAINST SLIGO PRISONER.

asked the Minister for Defence whether it is proposed to bring any charge against John Fallon, now in Sligo Jail, and, if not, whether he is prepared, in view of the fact that this lad is only 17 years of age and has already been in prison for over six months, to order his release.

James Fallon, who gave his age as 18 years, has already been tried on a charge of aiding Irregulars, and as a result was recommended for internment. It is not the intention at present to release him.
