CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - POSTAL DELIVERIES IN CLONMEL

asked the Postmaster-General whether a second postal delivery in the Borough and Old Bridge District of Clonmel could not be arranged, as at present there is only one delivery per day for a population of 4,000.

There are at present two deliveries of letters at Clonmel—one commencing at 8 a.m. and the other at 12.15 p.m. The second delivery is, however, restricted to the town proper. The question of extending it so as to include outside districts has already been carefully considered, but as the number of letters which would be benefited is so small it is not considered that the additional expense involved would be justified.
