Vol. 6 No. 1

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CLONAKILTY POSTAL DELIVERY.

asked the Postmaster-General if he is aware that the mails which arrive in Clonakilty, Co. Cork, each morning before seven o'clock are not delivered until 10 o'clock, to ask what is the cause of the delay, and whether he will take the necessary steps to expedite the morning delivery.

The average hour of arrival of the mails at the Clonakilty Post Office is 8.0 a.m., and the commencing hour of delivery 9.0 a.m. It may be possible to effect a slight improvement of these times, and I am looking into the matter.
