asked the Minister for Defence whether he has received repeated applications from Patrick Mooney, Blundell Street, Edenderry, Offaly, for payment of arrears of wages due during his period of service with the National Army, and if he can now state when the amount in question will be paid to the applicant.
WRITTEN ANSWERS. - EDENDERRY VOLUNTEER'S PAYMENT.
The prescribed claim form in respect of arrears of pay was sent to M. Mooney on the 27th October last. On its return it was found that it was, not properly completed. It was again sent to the applicant on the 6th November, pointing out the omissions. It has not since been received.
