asked the Minister for Defence if he will explain why a claim for £50 by Mr. George H. Fawcett, of Knavinstown House, Kildare, in respect of a mare commandeered for Army purposes on the 26th of July, 1922, and for which he holds a receipt, has not been paid, although repeated applications have been made by Mr. Fawcett and his solicitor to the Officer Commanding at the Curragh and the Army Finance Office, and if he will direct that payment be made forthwith?
