Vol. 6 No. 14

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - HEADFORD BAKER'S CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Defence if he can state the reasons why the claim made by Thos. Reynolds, baker, of Headford, Co. Galway, on account of a lorry commandeered on August 8th, 1922, has not yet been paid, and if he will see that this matter receives immediate attention?

The claim has not been paid because the investigations necessary for its proper consideration have not yet been completed. The investigations are nearing completion, and a definite decision will be conveyed to the claimant very shortly.
