asked the Minister for Agriculture if his attention has been drawn to a paper read by Mr. Joseph O'Connor before the Kildare Agricultural Committee, dealing with the compulsory licensing and registration of all bulls used for breeding purposes in the Saorstát, and whether he will, in view of the importance of the matter to the entire country, and the keenness of the competition with other foreign countries, advise the Government to deal with the matter outlined therein.

The intention to introduce a Bill dealing with the licensing of breeding stock was referred to in the Governor-General's speech at the beginning of the Session, and this Bill will be introduced at an early date.
