Vol. 7 No. 1

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - DISCHARGED SOLDIERS' ALLOWANCES.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state the reason why James Coogan, Army No. 412, discharged 31st July, 1923, and John Coogan, Army No. R.451, discharged 27th July, 1923, both of Suncroft, Co. Kildare, have not been paid twenty-eight days pay and allowances on discharge as set out in Defence Order No. 20, and whether the Minister will have investigations made with a view to payment.

Arrangements are being made whereby the 28 days pay and allowances due to Messrs. James and John Coogan will be paid at an early date.
