Might I ask the Minister for Industry and Commerce when he proposes to introduce the new Unemployment Insurance Bill?
UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE BILL.
I have already stated, in answer to Deputy Byrne, that there was no hope, whatever, of introducing that Bill this week. There is also very little hope of it being introduced next week. It will probably come on, on the Tuesday in the week after that. That is only probable, however.
In view of the seriousness of the unemployment question, I would ask the Government to speed up this matter.
